Things have been busy around here as I wrap up the spring term, celebrate birthdays, and make plans for summer school, amidst other activities.
And with so much going on, it’s easy to get stressed out and a little frustrated/worried/frazzled sometimes.
Especially after reading Ali’s post, I thought today, now, would be a perfect time to remind myself of all the things I’m thankful for at this point in my life.

- I’m thankful for projects and assignments that keep me busy.
- I’m thankful for nights of good rest.
- I’m thankful for laughter and inside jokes.
- I’m thankful for down-to-earth friends I can connect with.
- I’m thankful for opportunities to trust and learn and grow.
- I’m thankful for the convenience of technology.
- I’m thankful for encouraging professors who make my college experience what it is.
- I’m thankful for creative outlets.
- I’m thankful for air-conditioning on warm evenings.
- I’m thankful for the newness of mornings.
- I’m thankful for rain.
- I’m thankful for the bonds of family that hold us together so, so tightly.
- I’m thankful for my faith that keeps me grounded.
- I’m thankful for the amusement of sing-aloud sessions.
- I’m thankful for the strengths of my ESFJ personality. And also for its weaknesses.
- I’m thankful for challenges that make me stronger.
- I’m thankful for people who are willing to tell me the hard things.
- I’m thankful for grace, mercy, love.
- I’m thankful for situations that train me to look past the surface.
- I’m thankful for the hope, excitement and anticipation of possibilities.
- I’m thankful for people who are willing to listen.
