This week has been really busy but really good in all sorts of ways.
And it’s probably going to stay pretty busy with all the plans I have; I’m excited for it all though.
But I’m pausing a little this midweek, slowing down to remind myself of how I want to be through all the plans and everything that keeps me busy – kind, intense, and brave.
I hope your week’s been swell so far!

In all honesty, I really do try not to spend excessive amounts of time on social media. In fact, I try to be really intentional about who I follow and what I spend my time on.
But once in awhile, I get distracted and find some really inspiring Instagram accounts that keep me scrolling. So this week, I’d thought I’d spread the love + share the inspiration!
01 / Corinne Tan writes love letters to strangers and completely inspires me to write some myself!
02 / Sue Lyn is on a cookie project that is both encouraging and uplifiting.
03 / Amanda Rydell does amazing packaging + some fun DIYs.
04 / Rachelle captures life beautifully and just has such an inspiring-looking feed.
I hope this kick-starts an inspiring weekend!

Life is often full and busy. But I like to take time to enjoy some of my favorite things. So Friday Favorite is a weekly series where I share my favorite(s) for the week. Check out my other Friday Favorites here.
This past week, I had several opportunities to catch up with friends + bond. It’s amazing what happens to your friendships/relationships when you spend time over food. It’s like a whole new world opens up and you connect in a brand new way. You come up with inside jokes, tell stories, laugh, and go away remembering that you have so much to be grateful for.
So it looks like Julia Child said it right. Because I couldn’t have said it better myself.

You might’ve have heard me mention this before, but now I will emphatically say that Math is so not my thing. And for that, I will always be grateful to the friend(s) who cared about me enough to tell me that I shouldn’t be a Business major.
But just because Math isn’t my thing, it doesn’t mean I get to run away or ignore it. It only means that I need to work harder to get better at it. So while summer school this year has been a little bit of a struggle with this Statistics and Probability class I’m taking, I’m just working harder and putting in more effort to get good at this.
Only three more weeks left of this class, and I’m ready to tackle this giant for good. Let’s do this.

Creating is one of my favorite things. And these rules are a good reminder to keep creating. And maybe this time, these rules aren’t meant to be broken (;
Happy Friday – time to put these rules to the test!

This week’s been a little rough: feeling a bit under the weather but still working on a long to-do list that needs to get done regardless.
So I’m thoroughly embracing this quote, doing the best I can, making the most of it, and reminding myself that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13).
I hope your mid-week is pretty swell.

Don’t you love it when you stumble across websites that are both fun to read and inspiring at the same time?
This week, I came across Brit + Co. and At Home in Love. These two websites are full of ideas for lifestyle, home decor, DIYs, and everything in between. I’d come across Brit + Co. before but just didn’t have the time to explore much. So this week, I found myself clicking on link after link at Brit + Co.’s fun and colorful website – super informative and inspirational. You can even download their app for Android, iPhone, or Windows! Aileen from At Home in Love also has really great ideas that are a lovely mix of happy and whimsical. Her posts are easy to read, and she has tons of inspiring images over on her blog; I’m looking forward to perusing through the archives sometime. And having such a cute website is definitely a PLUS!
Both websites have very different vibes but are extremely inspirational + fun to read nonetheless. These new (to me) websites are definitely going to be good reads for the weekend. Then it’s time to bring some of those inspiring ideas to life!

My favorite this week is the Urbanic Paper blog. Complete with a brand new look, this super cute blog is full of inspiration and plenty of pretty paper things – which I absolutely adore. They also have lots of inspiring designs in their pop-up shop.
As a girl who loves paper and snail mail, this blog fits the bill to a tee – perfect for being inspired over this weekend.
Happy Friday!

While scrolling through my twitter feed last week, I came across a link to this video by Kristina Werner, which left me pretty inspired.
Growing up, I didn’t always have the nicest handwriting and I was constantly in envy of the girls in class whose cute handwriting made me wish I wrote better. As I got older, my handwriting became a little bit better and I started actually liking my writing. But somewhere, somehow, this writing of mine started getting all scribbly and messy again and now I don’t like it so much anymore.
I must say, with all the influx of technology nowadays, maybe all the time I spend typing on my computer and scrolling through my smartphone doesn’t give me much opportunity to practice writing with a pen (or pencil) anymore. So hmm, maybe technology is all to blame.
Still, I really hope that I get back to the phase of having better writing and liking my handwriting again.
But until then, I’ll just have to keep practicing, take every opportunity I have to use a pen to practice and try to make this handwriting as good I can get it.
I think I might just be busy practicing this weekend. Happy Friday!
